VUE authorised testing centre.

with the Army culminating in achieving the rank of Warrant
Officer Class 1, the highest non-commissioned rank. Key recent
appointments and responsibilities included:
- 1993 – 1999 Project
Team Leader on the £2Bn project BOWMAN, future
communications system for the armed forces. Responsible for
ensuring the reliability and maintainability criteria were
met by the prime contractor, as specified in the BOWMAN
project requirements, by applying the principals of
Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). IT manager for the
Field Communications Support Group.
- 1990 – 1993
Telecommunications workshop manager. Responsible for the
organisation, supervision and control of the combined
military/civilian workforce. The development and
implementation of standard procedures and to assess and
advise on the requirements for test and repair equipments.
