• Site Commander of an Armoured Headquarters, including the deployment, siting and efficient running during long and arduous deployments.

• In 2003 deploying to Iraq as Detachment Commander of an Armoured radio vehicle, fulfilling mobile and static secure/insecure communications for high profile operations in Basra City.

• Planning, provision operation and maintenance of common user facilities of data, telegraph, facsimile and voice using a wide range of UK based equipment.
• Siting and erection of elevated antennas for VHF, UHF and SHF Microwave line of sight links.
• In 2001 deployed to Sierra Leone as a Communications Engineer working in a supervisory role of a team of 10 people. Tasks included frequency assignment and management, implementing and installing a range of radio equipment in a high intensive headquarters.
