Dell was developing new front office systems, allied to new Oracle R11 back office modules.  

Hired by the Finance project sponsor, to (in political parlance) ‘identify project and business risks arising out of the project, identify / recommend mitigating actions and manage their implementation’ - essentially to assess what was going wrong with the project and to make and effect implementation of appropriate recommendations. 

Recommendations made resulted in a major restructuring of the project, development of a formal, documented project strategy and re-planning of the project to provide a structured, realistic and pragmatic approach.

Sept 00 - Management Support (Freelance). 

Belron were to develop and implement centralised and standardised business processes and systems. The project scope was global, (12 countries), and ‘business-wide’, encompassing the entirety of the business process - from front office, through supply chain, to back office.

Hired to define the project, through development of a project Terms of Reference document that could be used for bidding consultancies in the tendering process.
