Finance project sponsor, to (in political parlance) ‘identify
project and business risks arising out of the project, identify
/ recommend mitigating actions and manage their implementation’
- essentially to assess what was going wrong with the project
and to make and effect implementation of appropriate
recommendations.
Recommendations
made resulted in a major restructuring of the project,
development of a formal, documented project strategy and
re-planning of the project to provide a structured, realistic
and pragmatic approach.
