·
As a member of the Supply Chain Management and Logistics
Solutions development team, my main role is to develop and
enhance the software based on the specifications of the
customer. I am involved in writing server side packages,
triggers, and cursors and developing client side forms and
reports, creating object libraries and standardising code
wherever possible. I have in-depth expertise in Forms versions
4.5, 6,6i and 9i.
·
I was involved in a project to release a thin client version of
our product, which was developed using forms 6i. As this was a
multi-site operation, I also had the opportunity to set-up and
install the Application server for Forms and Reports 6i. I was
also responsible to develop real time graphical representation
of equipment used on customer site using 6i graphs.
·
Being an ISO 9001 certified company, I am also involved in
preparing technical development specifications based on the
functional specification provided by the project manager.
·
I play an active role by providing technical support directly to
clients as well as our internal support department. I am also
involved in directly co-ordinating and developing any
enhancements required by our clients.
·
Apart from working on Windows OS, I have also largely been
involved in projects based on Unix OS. Some of the
responsibilities being creating a database, installing
application server and compiling and building a client on Unix.

SQLJ and CORBA.
As a member of the Database team, my main task was to create
object types and views and also the packages and stored
procedures based on them. Apart from this, I was also involved
in the database design reviews, preparing test cases for unit
