In November 2006, I started my own company to allow me to work as an I.T. consultant. I provide a service to small businesses that cannot afford or justify employing a full-time I.T. department or persons. I will support and administrate their I.T. infrastructure, write custom software and recommend/source I.T. equipment and software for them. I am also willing to undertake short term contract software development work.
Responsibilities: Liaise with customers and analyse their current I.T. infrastructure to determine where improvements can be made. Implement any recommendations for the customer and continually monitor, support and administrate their infrastructure. Ensure both ourselves and our customers are aware of and comply with legislation.

Working as a software developer, my role was primarily to integrate custom software solutions into the Sage line of business software, including Line 50, MMS, ACT and SalesLogix. I was also involved in building standalone custom software solutions for customers.

• I was responsible for supporting and administrating our own I.T. infrastructure including all servers, computers, networks and websites. I was also responsible in buying I.T. equipment for our own needs.

Working as an analyser maintenance technician, I am responsible for the maintenance of the analysers for the Ethylene cracker plant.
