As Programme Manager of
the Digital Pre-Press Programme successfully led a
multi-disciplinary team through the establishment and definition
of the Programme, identification of the business requirements,
management of the Invitation to Tender (ITT) process, supplier
selection and authoring of the Business Case which ultimately
proved that, while strategically a very appropriate direction
for the business, the financial benefits case did not justify
the expenditure and the Programme was closed.
Subsequently asked to
ensure the successful completion of Phase 1 of a major Warehouse
Project and then given responsibility for the Phase 2 Goods Out
project, all based on the implementation of Manhattans Warehouse
Management for Windows. Leading a team of client, IT and
supplier staff, new business process were defined and
successfully implemented for Publications products with the same
defined and under development and test for the core Question
Paper products.
