October 2006 –
November 2007: As a Software Engineer on a contract with [snip],
Kuwait.

I was working
as a Software Tester in the QA team. I worked on a
Java based application (with Oracle as Back end) for the ITG
division of our client Zain Telecom.

Liaise with Business Analysts, Technical Architects and
Developers. 2) Preparing and maintaining test plans, 3)
Requirement analysis, building test cases and scripts and
Executing them as per the time plan, 4) Developing effective
QA processes, including managing metrics for test execution,
defect tracking and configuration management, 5) Adhering to
Test Life cycle ( V- Model) and the quality
guidelines laid, 6) Developing defect report documents, 7)
Database, functional, Integration and Regression testing,

Orthogonal testing methodologies – a robust testing
method using mathematical tool of arrays to select the test
cases intelligently and improves the testing efficiency.
Thus, helps reducing the cost of testing and producing a bug

strategic investment company, practicing six sigma quality
norms which complement CMMI level 5 model followed in the
company. I was a part of the Quality Assurance Team
working on a number of applications in General
Electric-Commercial Finance Division.

green belt project on reducing the test life-cycle time
by improving the automation process of testing. The

using network protocols programming in C (using packages like
Libnet and iptables) working in Suse version 9.0 environment
(Linux). This model could perform IP in IP encapsulation and
divert the packets to intermediate wireless nodes, before
sending it to the desired destination.
