Career Details.
April 2001 to date As my own company, completed
generator maintenance contract
For B.O.C.
Nigeria.
Employed as plant
maintenance engineer for a mobile crane hire
company.
January to April 2001 Plant Manager for Jagal Nigeria
Ltd. (Contract Civil Engineers)
Responsible for company estates management plus workshop and
all
mobile plant and equipment.
From 1995 to 2000 Tyre Manufacturing Engineering Co -

Dunlop Nigeria Plc

services to the factory, power, steam, compressed air.

Generators were of medium size, medium speed [750 rpm]

including ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia

water treatment projects.
I have completed a full engineering craft apprenticeship
[1961 - 1966] with the English Electric Co Ltd, covering
engine assembly plus test and development work, also
required was full competent
use of all machine tools.
I also completed four years as a marine engineer with the
British Merchant Navy [1966 - 1970].
Experience
I have a lot of experience centered on diesel engines of
the following manufacture Ruston, Allen, Crossley, Paxman,
Lister, Petter, M.A.N., Rolls Royce, Caterpillar, English
Electric, Doxford, medium and large, traction industrial
and marine,plus dual fuelled engines for power stations. I
am also very conversant with turbo chargers, Brown Boveri
and Napier in particular. Also included are pumps, boilers,
compressors, and rotating equipment.
I have also gained, from my years in the water industry, in
UK and the Middle East, much knowledge of the specialist
type equipment required for the supply, treatment, and
distribution systems for water ; such as UK and American
chlorination equipment, pure oxygen injection systems,
package plant, heat treatment projects, digestion systems
supplying gas for dual fuelled power stations.
