CST is also operational globally in providing software development services in Middle East, Europe and USA through its Software Development and Consulting Division.                       

Position:           Assistant Network Engineer (Internet/Data Network Operations Department) 

Environment:

Dialup setup with Lucent TNT Access servers, PRIs & BRIs, DSL Broadband setup with DSLAMs, BRAS & ATM, Core routers included Cisco 7200 & 7500, Alteon AD3 switch for multilayer switching, Squid proxy servers, Billing servers and Pop management.  

Responsibilities:

As an Assist Network Engineer following were the job responsibilities:

·    Designing & Implementation of Private Data Networks using FR to ATM internetworking, Circuit Emulation Services (CES) & LAN Emulation over ATM techniques.

·    RFC 1483 Compliant Routing, Bridging Configuration of DSL Routers in PPPoE, IPoATM modes, DSLAM firmware up gradation, Inverse Multiplexing over ATM (IMA) Configuration on ATM Switch.

·    Monitoring & trouble shooting of Frame Relay, ATM, xDSL, ISDN, QOS, SDH, DSLAMs. 

Experience:

Hands on experience of configuring multi-vendor devices:

·    ATM switch (ASC A-1240E)

·    DSL Access Multiplexers ( Paradyne )

·    Broadband Remote Access Server (UTStar & RedBack )

·    Layer 4 switch (Alteon AD3)

·    CISCO 2500 /2600 /1700 series router

·    Multi vendor DSL CPEs

·    Learnt implementation of major WAN technologies including ATM & Frame Relay.
