ORGANISATION SKILLS & COMPETENCES
- During the Naval carrier,
• Electrical In-charge of Naval Dockyard Power Generating
Station, Trincomalee, Sri Lanka which comprises five 350 KVA
Separately Excited A/C Generators plus 625 KVA Catepiller
Brushless A/C Generator for the period of 3 years.
• Led the Electrical Teams for Repair & Maintenance of 6.6 KV
H/T Ring Main System In the Naval Dockyard, with Associated Sub
stations, Feeder pillers,Isolators, On-line Transformers
including various Breakers for the period of 3 years.
• Served as an In-charge of Electrical Department & Acting Chief
Instructor at Electrical/Electronic School of Naval & Maritime
Academy, Trincomalee Sri Lanka for the period of 2.3 years.
• Represented Sri Lanka Navy at Seminar on Switched Mode Power
Supplies, Development of Technologies, Future Trends &
Maintenance Approaches conducted by Arthur C Clarke Centre for
Modern Technologies in Sri Lanka.
• Formed part of Sri Lanka navy Technical Team to People’s
Republic of China for Acquiring First ever Sub-Marine Chaser to
Sri Lanka Navy where 4.5 months spent on Familiarization
programme.
- During the Hotel Carrier,
Gained good knowledge in maintenance of 2 large Swimming
Pools, 3 no. 120 ton DIKIN &YORK A/C Chillers, 6 Acres
of Garden, Civil engineering work including structural
modifications etc, Plumbing & Water/Sewage treatment
Plants, Laundry Machineries including 3 ton Boiler. and
maintaining of all the necessary equipment in a 5 star
Kitchen, capable of serving over 650 guests.
During my tenure, I have also under taken and successfully
Managed 2 major Refurbishment Programmes involving
Over 350 contracting staff in addition to the own staff.
Furthermore, gained fair knowledge of planning and
Executing of Budgetary controls on monthly/annually
basis in a highly demanding environment.
