Experience

[snip]

May 2002 – Present

Established in the middle of last year, we have already worked on two multimedia CD-Roms based on a popular children’s TV series, and have 7 education titles about to be published. As well as our multimedia work we have worked on several websites, using ASP and MySQL. These include e-commerce and database driven sites with content management systems.

We have extensive experience of integrating multimedia technology such as flash and shockwave with ASP and database driven content.

March 2000 – April 2002

Early on in my previous job at Europress, I was promoted to Lead Programmer and asked to head up a team of six working on two children’s multimedia titles programmed in Macromedia Director/Lingo for the German market.

The two titles were developed simultaneously over 6 months. As the team was mostly inexperienced and the deadline was tight, I had to do a significant amount of the programming on both titles, as well as manage the projects. Both titles were dual format PC/Mac titles.

SafetyNet Systems

March 1999 – November 1999

Continuing my experience in programming, at SafetyNet I produced a number of online ordering systems and database driven sites using PHP3, ASP, SQL and mySQL.

The Web Factory

December 1997 – September 1998

Though I was initially employed during this work placement as a 3D artist, I also became responsible for the company's multimedia production due to my experience with Macromedia Director. In the year I spent at TWF, I created graphics and interfaces for numerous CD-ROMs for use at Internet shows and as sales tools. An unofficial part of my work was training new staff in HTML and web design software, as well as Lightwave and other 3D packages.
