§         Lead development, specification and implementation of the new MS Site Server Commerce Edition / SQL 7, version of CICERO, CHS’ European E-Commerce strategy.  Only one version live presently.

Web Architect

§     Moved to CHS’ Services Division, Academia, to provide Website development services, using on MS FrontPage, Active Server Pages and MS Access, for Resellers.

§     Specified and managed the implementation of ‘White Sites’ allowing resellers to resell Academia’s training courses through their websites.

§     Provided supplementary support to the MIS team and continued with Lotus Notes development.

§     Was involved in the implementation, specification and migration of the Technical Support Department’s Lotus Notes Helpdesk Application to an intranet and extranet application using Lotus Domino.

§     Moved back into the CHS MIS department to provide Internet based solutions for resellers.  In some cases this involved the combination of System/21 (previously Business/400), Lotus Notes, (including Notes Pump), SQL, Active Server Pages, MS Internet Information Server and FTP technologies being utilised in one solution.

§     Supported the CHS E-Commerce Website, specified changes and managed their implementation.

Network Manager

§     Migrated Merisel from Lotus cc:Mail to Lotus Notes, and host connectivity from Tolas to Business/400.

§     Specified, managed and participated in the IS aspects of CHS’ Distribution Centre move from Basingstoke, Berkshire to a new building in Brentford, Middlesex.

§     Moved CHS to OS/2 2.1 on IBM’s LAN Server at their two locations.  Managed the migration from the SNA WAN to SNA & TCP/IP whilst maintaining AS/400 connectivity.

§     Lotus Notes roll-out across the company, for email and GroupWare applications.

§     Lotus Notes administration, support and basic development.

§     Achieved Lotus Accreditation

§     Handed over support of the AS/400 to a new team member.
