Developing
in C++/C#/VB and SQL for a GIS system to track and
manage congestion throughout the UK for the Department
for Transport.
Working as
part of the IT Helpdesk Team in EDC I have gained more
experience in assisting others in the use of software.
I also designed and implemented a booking on system and
banning system to assist the staff in both the Helpdesk
and Library in their daily tasks. The college are now
taking the software college wide. In addition I have
also developed an online ASP job booking and tracking
system to assist hardware technicians and staff. |

Systems. Circumstances meant that I had to move from
London back to the North East

Programming a simple yet powerful package for a school
in the South East to make School Report writing a simple
and easy task. I created a semi intelligent model for
quick production of reports. This package was developed
in Visual Basic 5 and has recently being redeveloped for
a number of schools in the North East of England and the
West Midlands.

contract. Duties included food preparation and serving,
cooking and cleaning. I was asked to manage the
kitchens on occasion, which meant co-ordinating staff,
an experience that I enjoyed tremendously. |

Work Experience at National Westminster Bank, Kings

During my time at the National Westminster bank, I
learnt how banks operated, experiencing the use of ATM
operations, sitting in on business meetings, and working
in co-operation with bank staff on the IT help desk.
Although only there for a short while I was asked to
build a database for internal use, which is still being
used. I was also set the task of creating a
questionnaire, which is still being used today. I feel
that this helped me to identify and solve problems.

owners on a cold call basis. During this time I
developed flexible approaches to dealing with potential
customers. I believe I learnt how to deal with people
from a variety of socio-economic groups during this
