FDBM is a J2EE application used by the global payments department for Deal Capture, Deal queries/investigations and client/portfolio management. This application uses corba to interface with  the Finance Kit Treasury system(www.Trema.com). FDBM is a global strategic product and has been deployed in different XXXX regions with regional configurations.  

Responsibilities:

Design and development of the J2EE application for deployment in WebSphere5x.

Development of Stored procedures as needed for the application.

Design and develop the Rapid beneficiary, bank entry, Deal Entry and Query modules.

Design and develop the Thomson Banking relationship Database.

Set-up and Configuration of the Web Sphere Application servers.

Design and development of generic data import framework for data import into Finance Kit.

            Present  working on the Payment routing, Banking relationships component.

Moneynet is a B2C online product which is used for Order capture and Management system integrated with the XXXX corporate websites. This application allows customers to book their travel money with XXXX and choose their preferred pickup location. The orders are processed successfully, automatic e-mails are sent to the customers informing them of their payment and pickup date/location. The Corporate web sites are built by an underlying application which is parameter driven from the database, there by enabling an simple set-up process for any new sites for affiliates, partners and regional . 

Responsibilities:

            Design and development of the dynamic web sites and database.

Design and development of the server-side application to support the dynamic structure.

Design and development of the Order Capture and pick-pack applications.

eAuctions system for XXXX A T Kearney/IT Solutions

eAuctions is a web based Auctioning system. This auction system enables set-up of Auctions on the web for any product/range of products. The Auction could take place either upward or downward. There are Bidders who place the bids on these Auctions and the winner is decided based on the Total Cost calculation made taking into consideration all the parameters set for the Auction. 

Responsibilities:

Leading a team of 8 to analyse the eAuctions system for performance enhancement .

Re-architect the application to the J2EE standard architecture.

Leading a team to Re-engineer the application using JSP ,Servlets, EJB for Weblogic5x.

Design and develop the Bid analysis graphs and auction reports.

Responsibilities:

Conduct Feasibility study and Architectural design for the TRID.

Propose a Methodology for conversion of the B-tree data to Oracle Databases.

Propose Methodology for writing the new application using Java.

Effort Estimation using Function Point analysis and Proposal preparation.

Database Design of the Merchant and Call processing systems.

TML provides Tax receipts to the account holders of a Templeton's Mutual funds. These tax receipts formats change annually and also new receipts are requested by the Canadian govt. TML wants an application to achieve this. Also the Tax receipts issued must be stored for future reference. 

Responsibilities:

Lead the system study of the Tax Receipt Access and Printing System at Toronto, Canada. Effort Estimation using Function Point analysis and Proposal preparation.

TimeTable System for Thomas Cook Travel/Wipro Infotech

Thomas cook travel has a unique collection of the train time tables of the major trains in the world. Thomas Cook Travel wants to provide this as a service on the web to both consumers and business partners at a nominal fee. This system must be highly secure and also provide Credit Card interface. 

Responsibilities:

Lead the study of the existing DTP system and propose a solution.

Propose Architectural design for a New Timetable system.

Lead Application and Database Design for the New Timetable system.

This system will need to interface with CRM solution that will provide assistance to the Marketing team.

Requirements study of the Order/Customer sub systems.

Active participation in overall architectural design of CMS System.

Database design of the Order/Customer sub systems.

ATLAS and EURO are similar Order capture and fulfilment systems built on Client-Server Architecture with VB and Sybase with CT-Library as the database connection layer. CAFÉ is a B2B online offering based on the ATLAS requirements. This System caters to the need of capturing Order Details, fulfilment of     the Orders, Accounting, Printing and Post Order Handling. This system interfaces to the other allied systems existing at Thomas Cook and interfaces to other external systems like BACS, NTCS, BOC. This system has feed of Orders and Stock from other systems at Thomas Cook. This system also provides an interface to Credit Card interface through the Solve-SE VB API . 

Responsibilities:          Team Leader - (Dec 1999 to July 2000).

Lead a team of 6 for the EURO project design, development and User Acceptance.

Manage the final implementation at Thomas Cook, UK.
