of a prototype GUI in Visual Basic and production of final GUI
and framework for a large client/server application in
C++ and MFC. Responsible for requirements capture, OO design,
implementation, testing, documentation and supervision of a
junior consultant.
·Development of a prototype coordinate conversion application
for military helicopter pilots using Windows CE 3.0 on a
ruggedised PDA. Resulting user interface provided
ease-of-use under all required operating conditions. Sole
responsibility for all aspects of the development and
requirements analysis.
·Designed and developed an In-Car Entertainment System
Demonstration consisting of animated menus and embedded
video and game clips to the complete satisfaction of the
customer. The demonstration was developed in liaison with
the customer to ensure that the graphical style and the
demonstration content were in line with their requirements.

·Development of the C++/MFC-based Emergency Call Forwarding
system for the RAC Trackstar system, involving liaison
with BT, working to their protocol. Sole responsibility
for this aspect of the system. Also produced the customer
management system for the same product. Trackstar was
launched in 2000 and continues to be a successful product
in a competitive market place today (www.ractrackstar.com).
·Designed and implemented the company's first website to
illustrate the skills and services the company has to offer.
Telematica have since been bought by Trafficmaster Plc.
