The recommended way forward for the Hardware infrastructure is a migration from Windows based environment to a Unix Enterprise architecture. The solution proposed and approved by the board of directors is based on Sun technologies utilizing the Sun Solaris Operating system. 

The strategy and recommendations have been approved by the Board and System Integrators are currently being evaluated for the implementation of the new systems.
