As seems to be common in the modern IT industry, my interest in
computers started some years ago when I purchased my first home
PC. I gained my initial technical skills through a mix of self
study and bitter experience. Since then, I have continued along
the self study path to gain more skills and understanding of
various aspects of PC’s and support. I am currently studying
towards MCSA accreditation having just passed my CompTIA A+
exams.
I expect to attain my MCSA and hopefully MCDBA within the next
18-24 months.
As an individual, I am a definite team player with a “we can do
it and will do it right now” attitude. I am loyal, reliable and
hard working with a positive attitude. I have good customer
facing skills and usually excel with people who have a low level
of IT literacy.
Having contracted
for some 3.5 years, I have gained a broad and varied level of
experience in various technologies and environments – both
desktop, email and phone based support. I am now looking to gain
either long term contract work or permanent employment where I
can settle and develop new skills and use my existing experience
to bring something to the company.
