Engineer, involved supporting both our own and third party
products, for various emergency services customers,
including mission critical services. Within this area,
digital switching systems for PABX, PSTN and Radio where
covered, networking and graphical imaging systems (Third
Party Products). Mobile communications, this included
digital and voice radio at VHF and UHF frequencies, using
protocols compliant to GD92, products including
transceivers, cross band repeaters, radio modems and GPS
equipment. Remote site equipment included RF and ancillary
equipment (Dowty/APC UPS); digital multiplexers which are
software controlled for providing both voice and data
coverage. Preventative maintenance was another area of my
responsibility’s, this included hardware and software
