Senior Communications Manager                                                              Dec 2005 – Present

·         Responsible for planning and implementing the latest multi-million pound communications system into an operationally busy battalion.  550 senior and junior managers and staff trained to operate and service the equipment.

·         Commanded a unit of 30 communications specialists.

·         Reported directly to the Chief Executive.

·         Selected to become the Adjutant, the senior Captain within the organisation, prior to leaving the Armed Forces. 

Senior Training Officer                                                                               Oct 2004 – Dec 2005

·         Responsible for the planning and co-ordination of training 300 recruits.

·        Validated the performance of 36 subordinate instructors.

·         Planned and delivered ongoing instructor training and development.

 

Training Leader                                                                                            Apr 2004 – Oct 2004

·         Specially selected to lead and train a group of 48 new recruits aged 17 – 26.  Achieved an 87% pass rate against an average across the centre of 64%.  Results gained by a flexible approach to individual management and welfare, strong motivation and building strong team spirit.
