§   Delivered bids meeting sales team requirements against requests for proposals from clients requiring complex and comprehensive asset information management facilities.

§   Trained consultancy project managers to conduct successful project start-up and operational activities.  Updated and extended quality system to improve methodologies and to better manage project risks and reporting.

§   Managed client project managers, offshore product development project and in-house product architecture, documentation and development activities (total team size 12), meeting company business objectives for deliveries.

§   Worked on and managed many types of bids and projects in several industrial areas (including process control, message switching, retail banking and public sector automation) and countries, including 3 years in Iraq.  Often appointed as a replacement project manager for failing projects, bringing them in successfully.

§   Provided quality assurance services to projects before becoming manager (for 5 years) of the QA department for [snip] (including obtaining ISO90001 and TickIT certification – the first business unit of Logica to achieve this).

§   Quality consultant supplying services to clients in relation to project and software development quality management strategy and implementation.  Clients included a financial company specialising in pensions, a major mobile telephone systems operator and a recently privatised IT division entering the ASP arena.  I was able to deliver appropriate strategies, tools and methods for these clients successfully to make the necessary business changes.
