Statement

My career has covered many activities, from which I have drawn my many and varied skills. Enthusiasm for achieving goals has enabled me to sustain active professional and private interests in many disparate areas.

Following my MSc, which ends in September 2003, I look forward to challenging, applying and extending my skills and knowledge. I am particularly interested in semantic web development, as well as supply of music and arts via the web.

·Computer Skills: Windows, Linux and Mac; troubleshooting/support (local and by phone/email); Microsoft Office; StarOffice; text editors (including emacs), Apache, and computer utilities; Adobe Products (Photoshop, ImageReady), FoxPro; Audio software: Emagic Logic Audio, Protools, Goldwave etc.

·Programming skills: HTML, CSS, Visual Basic, XML (DTD), Java (SDK, XML, Pdf and other libraries), JavaScript, SQL, some PHP, regular expressions,
