Description:

Testing of database driven web based e-commerce application. This company offers car rentals, hotel accommodation, airport lounges, airport parking, airport limousines and travel insurance in over 40 countries worldwide. This application enables the customers to book online cars, hotels, airport lounges, airport parking and travel insurance.  

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Prepared Test Cases, Specifying what is the input & expected value

·         Analyzing Test Results and Creating Bug Report.

·         Extensively performed manual testing process to ensure the quality of the software

·         Verification of fixed defects and change the status of the defect by closing them with the observations and development comments.

·         Conducted Functional/Black box testing, Integration and Regression testing of the application.

·         Involved in designing of the website.

·         Used XENU broken link finder to find out the dead links and fix them.

Description:

As a test engineer performed the testing of scooter store international data driven web based application. This company sells wide range of products including Scooters, Bikes and Accessories. This application got two modules one customer module and other administration module. The customer module enables the customers to buy online their products and can apply online for Bike and Scooter finance.

The administration module includes the customer order-tracing, search for customer’s orders, search for bike/scooter finance applications and adding, deleting and u[snip]ting of product details and special offers. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Actively participated in requirement analysis.

·         Developed test cases based on specifications from ReqPro. 

·         Manually tested the application for Regression Testing

·         Participated in both Manual and automated testing.

·         Recorded & enhanced scripts using synchronization points, verification points and GUI checkpoint.

·         TSL was used to enhance the power of the scripts for handling complicated scenarios.

·         Conducted Black Box Testing, integration testing and User acceptance testing.

Description:                                   

The project basically comprises of monitoring the insurance claims related to health care. This product checks the authenticity of claims filed by the claimer thus saving employers money. This product also includes case administration and over payment protection, which are brand new services. At the user disposal, the product provides improved integration with payor systems and user interfaces for administrative tasks. Also, the user can personalize the user interface. In a nutshell, claims monitor enhances reliability, robustness and audit trails in the insurance sector for monitoring claims filed by the claimers.  

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Written test cases and executed test cases..

·         Defects were tracked, reviewed and analyzed.

·        Coordinating with Developers for Defect analysis and Preparing Defect Reports.

·        These scripts are run in batch mode to send the emails to important persons of the project like Project Manager, Test Manager etc.

·        Involved in performance testing.

·         Created the automated Test Scripts for the above modules.

Description: 

 This is a package for school, who wants to maintain and manage it through online (internet/intranet). This controls the flow of information throughout the school and ensures information is managed at all times.  It was designed and developed such a way that the users need not use all the options provided, but can skip some modules. Also an interface can be given to some other tools like accounting package (not included to this package). The students and the parents can look at the latest things in the school and the records also. The parents can have a look at their children’s day-to-day activities away from miles and take feedback from the teachers concerned. Though all the employees from peon to principal can use the employee module, the access module maintained by the Administrator does the process.

Description: 

[snip]-  is a non-profit national level organization, for which the web portal designed such that where members of I & R centers can communicate between each other, can obtain information related to Parkinson’s disease, can know the latest happenings on Parkinson’s disease using this web site. This is a database driven application, where each page of the web site had a definite predefined layout. And all the contents (in HTML format), image and other layout information of each page of the web site are stored in the database. This is done so as to make Maximum business rules would be coded in the backend stored procedures so as to minimize front-end coding.

·         Conducted Functional, Integration and System testing of the application.

·         Performed manual testing of the application before performing Automated testing.

·         Compared and analyzed the expected results to the actual results and documented the reports accordingly
