Manager Software
Development Department: - Project Management from initial
customer consultation to final delivery. Designing and
developing a wide range of Trainers and Simulators including;
Fixed Wing Aircraft, Helicopters, Ships Bridge, Mining
Equipment, Radar equipment, Radio and Intercom equipment, etc.
These applications have been written using MS Visual C++ or .net
and used various third party SDKs, OpenGL, or DirectX and HLSL
to produce realistic 3D visualisations. I have also developed
and produced other applications including Air Traffic Control
Systems, relational Databases (classified and unclassified), and
various training aids and utilities used in-house.

Senior Software
Engineer: - Heading a small team of engineers developing a suit
of applications called ‘Elusion’ using MS Visual C++ and OO
Technology to run under MS Windows 95, 98 and NT. This suit of
applications was developed for use by the RAF, to provide basic,
advanced and continuation training in electronic warfare (EW)
aspects of equipment reprogramming, mission planning and
development of operational tactics.

Software Engineer:
- Contracted by ‘Lego’ to develop an application called ‘Control
lab’ using MS Visual C++ and OO technology to run under MS
Windows 95 and NT. This system enabled computer control of users
models using a selection of sensors and outputs.

I had various
clients involving developing bespoke software, installation,
maintenance and support of standalone and networked PC's, and
giving user training.

Practice Management System, running on standalone PC's or
networks incorporating up to 25 terminals, from its initial test
site installation right through to being a market leader.
Clients included the MoD, medical schools, private and NHS
