Harmony Project
I have been responsible for the design and coding of the
Telecoms Switch connection of the Harmony Project. This takes
all the telephony provisioning requests and passing them to the
correct switch via a telnet interface. The messages are passed
into the component via XML and passed back as a reply XML
message. Message are queued using BizTalk (2002 now upgrading to
2004). The original code was VB6 and I have since upgraded to
C#. The component comprises of a Web Service and a C# dll. I
have also assisted on many other parts of the project with my
telecoms experience.

Enet Project
I was responsible for the rewrite of the Enet extranet, which
allowed [snip] resellers to log onto the web page and
provision there new customers. The system had an interface to
the telecoms switch as well as to the billing system. Telnet was
used to communicate with the switch and any errors passed back
to the customer. Also wrote the LCR upload system which
calculated Least Cost Routing information and passed it to the
switch.

Billing Consultant
Consulted on a number of areas of Billing and fraud management.
Involved in coding a new bespoke billing system and the
migration of the data. Also debugged a number of small billing
systems the company was using at the time.

European Head of MIS
Duties coved IT infrastructure across Europe and Billing. I was
responsible for commissioning and implementation of a billing
system (EHPT), setting up a WAN between all of the offices and
the IT technology used in each office. All local IT managers
reported to me.

Composite Materials Department
Involved in a wide variety of composite material testing and
firing trials. Carried out all my own instrumentation and
testing as well as reporting on findings. Carried out the first
ever conductivity tests on Metal Matrix Composites materials,
both steady state and transient (0 – destruction in 5
milliseconds). Comisioned and managed firing trials involving a
number of military and outside contractors
Freelance Projects
These are small projects I have carried out for a number of
companies, mostly web design.
Been designer and webmaster for interim connect for 4 years now.
ASP.Net, C# and SQL database used. The owner of the site can
update the text using an admin page as all text is stored in the
Database.
ASP.Net, C# and JavaScript. The shop added by the company who
runs the online shop.

Not yet launched but can be viewed by special request. This site
is for the
[snip], USA. It is for the Asthma
patients to log on, play games, chat to their doctors and talk
in an open forum. There are a range of security features built
in and an object model behind the site that took nearly as long
as the site has to develop. This as resulted in a very easy to
use, easy to customise site that BMC will sell on.
