In my job I provide 3^rd line client /server support mainly being hardware but also including the operating system in my case Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

As well as taking 3^rd line support escalations I provide site cover for sites that have 1^st & 2^nd line support engineers on holiday or off sick. In this role I have picked up lots of experience in using and support Windows 2000 Professional / Server / Advance Server, Windows XP Professional / Server, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Veritas Backup Exec, ARCServe, McAfee, Symantec Norton Antivirus, Linux, Dreamweaver, HTML, PHP, MySql. To keep my knowledge and experiences up to date I attend sites regularly.

In this job I would assist the project manager with rollout projects. This involved everything from looking at the bid to putting the project closure documentation together. My involvement for a typical project would involve me reading over the bid and commenting on any logistical / technical situations that may need addressing, Planning & Implementation of a workshop / staging area for preparing machines to be deployed, Team lead engineer actually carrying out the project working with the project manager and providing technical support for other engineers, and finally assisting the project manager in getting all documentation together for the project closure hand over with the customer.

Whilst not busy with project rollouts I assisted with internal support and also provided site cover for sites that had 1^st & 2^nd line support engineers on holiday or off work sick.
