Analyst
Programmer at their London office: supporting their insurance
premium collection and recording system. I was given the
opportunity to use my skills in RPGIV, CL/400, net.data, HTML,
CSS, Javascript, MS Access, SQL, and Java. These are some of
the system developments that I worked on:
·
Documentation of their insurance premium collection recording
system. The Business Analyst and consultants put the
information that I was able to quickly produce to immediate and
effective use.
·
Solely responsible for a number of enhancements to their MS
Access Complaints Database. I received numerous glowing remarks
about the time taken and the productivity increases that
resulted.
·
Modified their web-based reports to follow a new reporting
structure. These reports used net.data to present output from
the As/400.
·
Assisted with the initial lifecycle stages of a major audit
project, including the feasibility of printing the required
number of forms, and working on program and report
specifications.

CSS, Javascript and Visual Basic. The projects that I was most
responsible for are:
·
Completing the development of Webpoint, a browser based document
retrieval system that uses IBM’s ‘net.data’ CGI system and
related Internet technologies to interface with RPG and CL

train users to use a new function that allowed more than one
Coupon Transaction Report to be run a week for customers who
required it.

Working with various departments within the company to design
and implement a set of parameters for the Centralised Purchasing
