unattended distribution of the above platforms to various models
of Compaq desktops and laptops.

Solely responsible for each step in the discovery, packaging
and distribution of applications throughout the [snip] network.
Each distributed item required analysis of application content
including executables and DLLs, system components, services,
drivers, COM objects and ODBC connections. Final applications
were bench-tested on a range of Windows and NT systems, before
final approval from client. Responsible for faults and queries
arising from new and existing packages, ensuring scripting
packages do not conflict with the common operating environment (Gena)
or policies, DLL Management, automated creation of Novell groups
and permissions, creating documentation for desktop and the

systems. Responsible for creating, testing and distributing
packages using Wininstall, SMS Installer, Wise and Microsoft SMS
for distribution, advanced technical support for the Desktop
team, testing of Common Operating Environment (COE), assisting
the NT server team in dhcp, dns, browser and IP issues.
Monitoring and maintaining SMS servers for reliability and
pre-emptive failures, using event viewer and performance

operating system, including configuration of RAS, Dial-up
networking, Microsoft Exchange servers and clients, network
